NEWROCKIES is a family‑run engineering company that helps GM owners get their vehicles back on the road when the factory security system fails. NEWROCKIES was founded in 2008 by electrical engineer Luca (“Luke”) Lambruschini in Alberta, Canada. For years, Luke worked in multiple areas of electrical and mechanical engineering, including automotive electronics, before developing a permanent fix for GM’s Passkey, Passlock, and related immobilizer systems. What started as “one engineer with a workbench and a scope” has grown into a focused family business that has helped tens of thousands of GM owners in the US and worldwide get rid of random no‑starts and security‑light headaches.
Today, Luke still designs and oversees every product we ship, while handling together with his family every other aspect of the business: customer support, logistics, installer relationships, marketing, technology and online presence.
