Here is Jason’s story about his 1993 Cadillac DeVille.
“Hi, my name is Jason Stevens, I own a 1993 Cadillac DeVille. As always, I take good care of my vehicle by keeping up on scheduled maintenance. It all started about 2 weeks ago when my Car started to act funny… just 1 week prior to winterizing the Caddie for the harsh Minnesota weather. I had done an Alignment, Oil Change, Coolant Flush, not to mention Air + Fuel filters done to make it totally ready for Winter. These repairs set me back over $200. I went with my Family to the local Thrift store to pickup Clothes for my Daughter. After checkout, we left the store and boarded the Caddie. Ready to leave, I turned the key to start the Car and low and behold…nothing.”
“The eerie silence was eminent… nothingness filled our ears. Not even a single click could be heard. I knew there was a problem with my Car. My next thought was “How were we to get home?” So then I decided to call Roadside assistance to come and jump my Car. The Man arrived a long and uneventful 45 minutes later. He then attached a portable Battery Booster to my vehicle and the Car started right up. I shrugged it off and assumed I left my stereo on and it drained the battery. After the Car was mobile again, we drove about 4 miles, stopping at yet another store to pickup a pair of Shoes for my Son. Searching to find nothing, we walked back to the Car to leave. We got in, put our seat belts on and were ready to go. Soon thereafter I tried starting up the Car, nothing… again. For the second time I had to call Roadside Assistance, but this time have them tow my vehicle to my Repair shop. Hopefully they will be able to diagnose the problem. While waiting for my Wife to pick me up, a Repair Man working on my vehicle came up to me and said that my battery was bad. So, I decided to have my shop install a new battery. After the new battery had been installed, the Car was still not starting. So they told me that they would keep the Car overnight to run further tests and get back to me later. After running several tests including Starter, Charging System, and Electrical, they finally told me my problem was a Theft Immobilizer Lock Cylinder. They told me my best option was to bring my Car into a Dealership, because they were more experienced in this type of problem. After hearing all this, I still wasn’t sure what I was going to do. The diagnosis of my vehicle set me back $144, just to find out this was the problem. And still, my Car wasn’t fixed. I decided to contact a couple of Dealerships to get quotes. The best deal was labor being $150 per hour, plus parts. The guy mentioned I might need a new set of keys (An additional $100 for a set). The guy on the Phone gave me a rough estimate of $500. After doing the math I added up the cost. It appeared to me that it would cost more than $500. I really didn’t want to spend that kind of money to fix my Car. I thoroughly researched the Internet on the VATS Security System. I found a temporary solution to my problem. There was a guy who had the same problem as me with his security system and he had claimed that by waiting 10 minutes, the security system resets itself and you would be able to start your Car. At this point I was willing to try anything that wouldn’t cost me money. I went to the local Dollar store and bought a Digital Cooking Timer. I then set it up in my car to see if it would work. To my surprise the Caddie started right up. I drove the Car like this for a week to get back and forth to work. I was worried the cold weather would prevent my Caddie from starting up. That’s when I needed to do further research to find a permanent solution for this problem.
“During my findings there was a couple of ways to bypass the security system. Although this would only bypass a portion of the system and may work for a little while, it might suddenly fail without notice. To me, this was only a quick fix and could lead to further problems. (I then stumbled upon “Newrockies”. The system was called the Pro Module. This system was the total bypass of the VATS Security system. Unlike the other bypasses, this completely bypasses the entire system. I believed that this was the answer to my problem. I thought this was my last chance at fixing my Car at an affordable price. The price of the Pro Module was $279 plus shipping. This is much less than going to the Dealership to fix my problem. I finally made up my mind and decided to give it a chance. It was Halloween and I placed my order for my Pro Module. Shortly after, I was updated with an email stating my order was placed and received another email confirming my order was shipped. The estimated arrival for regular shipping was 7 days. I patiently waited for my package to arrive. At last, 4 days passed and my Pro Module was here. I then immediately cruised over to my friend’s house to install the unit. Installation went smoothly, to say the least. The green light was lit up and it was now time to start the Caddie. As I hoped, it fired right up. Now the real test was if it would start a second time without having to wait 10 Minutes. Only then would I believe Newrockies Pro Module saved my Caddie from near destruction. “It’s Showtime!”, I said as turned the key. Suddenly… that everlasting nothingness was heard no more. The Car has since fired up with no issues at all. My Caddie lives to drive another day. Throughout the process of dealing with this, I learned that waiting 10 minutes is an inconvenience to anyone. Thanks to Newrockies Pro Module System, I can now run my Car when I want, not when the Car wants to.”
I could do a lot in ten minutes, I could cook a good meal, wash my hair, brush my teeth, and even take a leak, all in 10 minutes.
Don’t trust quick Security system fixes, bypass it forever by installing Newrockies Pro Module today.
It Rocks!
Thanks Newrockies,
– Jason
