8 Great Reasons To Buy PRO

Get rid of the ENTIRE GM security system FOREVER with the Pro Version of the FULL Bypass module. It works for VATS, PassKey and Passlock and also when the TDM is embedded in BCM or IPC or EVO.

Why The Full Bypass?

Every component of GM Security Systems is weak and lasts typically no more than 7 years. Our Full bypass is a unique system to bypass GM VATS, PassKey or PassLock Security Systems entirely, at a point they can often be physically removed from your car.

Why The PRO Version Of The Full Bypass?

Here are 8 great reasons that make your choice easier:

#1 – Save plenty of money!
By installing the Full Bypass you will NOT need to change the lock (350$) and the TDM (700$). And your spare keys will cost 99c at Walmart instead of spending 75$ to have them copied at the dealership! This is a total saving of MORE THAN 1,050$!

#2 – It will last forever.
Adherence to the best standards for durability and reliability even in the most adverse temperature and humidity conditions. We make exclusive use of first quality and military grade components guaranteed in a temperature range of -45 to 185 F. Our PRO Modules are also 100% MADE IN USA!

#3 – Fully tested.
We test in lab with oscilloscope and on the field on test cars. We do this on every single module we ship.

#4 – FREE Installation Support to get your car running asap.
Complete documentations tailored specifically for your car make/model/year are included free of charge together with free installation support. You will fully bypass the GM VATS PassKey or Passlock system in less than 1 hour, disable GM security system, save plenty of time and frustration and get your car running better than ever.
Shipping is almost always within 24 hours, rarely in 48.

#5 – NO RISK! 30 Days Better Than Money Back Guarantee!
We are so confident our module will save your car that we will refund you the full amount – shipping included – if you decide to return it for any reason within 30 days of delivery. We only ask you to let us know why, so we can improve our product.

#6 – The bigs are doing it.
Mechanics, importers and – I shouldn’t say this – even dealers buy from us!

#7 – You can have it for FREE! And earn top money too!
It’s very easy to repay yourself back very quickly. With our free Affiliation Program you will have a special link to distribute to other people that might need the Full Bypass. It’s enough to have 3 of those people purchasing the module and you will have repaid yourself back in full. You can even do this in a week with your own neighborhood and then keep using your link and earn money for your saving account! The Full Bypass sells by itself and people loves it because it’s simple to install and solves the problem from the roots.

#8 – It gives toys to sick children
It wasn’t long ago when my 3 years old daughter (yes the one you see in the picture) was code-1 in the ambulance, almost unable to breath, hugging tight on a little teddy bear that the paramedics gave her. She is allergic to peanuts, she still doesn’t know what death is, but she does know it can come anytime just because of a little chocolate candy.
From that day of May 10, 2010 we donate 5%-10% of all sales to Child’s Play Charity. – May God save ALL children like He saved our toddler.

Matthew, our PRO Module will bypass the factory immobilizer and only that, no other function of the car will be affected in any way. You will not need to do anything else than what we instruct in our detailed instructions, no special tools or knowledge is needed and installation is pretty straightforward. it cannot cause any problem to anything else as it will interact exclusively with the security. Also we manufacture our PRO Modules with military grade components that maintain extreme reliability even with the hardest temperature and humidity conditions and have a lifespan of more than 20 years. We sell our PRO Modules South to North, from the heat Arizona to the extreme cold of the Yukon without any issues reported by our customers.

Hi LUKE!
I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird V8 5.0 Formula, When try to turn it on, it does not crank, the VATS security signal, on the dash, stay on all the time and turn to off. my mechanic turned the car with a tester, that way I moved it into the garage, Will this by-pass fix my problem once & for all?
Regards.

Alexis, this is definitely a fault in the immobilizer system. Guaranteed, our PRO Module will bypass the system entirely and fix the issue once and for all.

Hey Luke, I have a 2004 impala and I’m pretty sure your bypass system is the fix, but my mechanic is unsure if he’ll be able to put it in, is there anything you could tell me to tell my mechanic that might make him feel a little bit better about telling me he can do it, before i spend the money? thanks a bunch! also there is no chip in my key… but that doesn’t matter right?? thanks again

Jason, many of our customers are installing the PRO Module by themselves. Your mechanic will certainly be able to do it. It usually takes about 1 hour for a mechanic to install it. The chip in your case is in the cylinder, so yes, it doesn’t matter, the PRO module will work perfectly on you car.

I have a 2004 Impala and it won’t start sometimes. The security light flashes when you turn the key on, but if I wait 10 minutes the security light stays on solid and the car starts. Does this sound like something your device will fix? Can I still use my keyless entry after this is installed or not?

Reply

Luke May 7, 2012 at 8:37 pm

Daryl, this are typical symptoms of a failure in the security system. Our PRO module will definitely fix this permanently and it’s compatible with your car. It will bypass the factory immobilizer and not affect any other feature of the car including the keyless entry.

Jesse, our NEWROCKIES PRO Module will work on your truck independently of any after-market alarm installed. It will fix the issue permanently by disabling the factory immobilizer. Installation instructions are tailored on the specific vehicle and very detailed, all necessary information are there.

I have a 95 Pontiac Firebird and it came with a Cool Start after market remote starter. When I insert the key into the ignition switch to start the car nothing happens. If I hit the start button on the remote, the car starts. I insert the key like before and turn it to the run position step on the brake and then it dies. I replaced the brake pedal switch and still the same results. I also noticed that the security light remains on. Any ideas

Reply

Luke May 7, 2012 at 8:56 pm

Ken, this one looks a lot like a problem in the factory immobilizer or in its interaction with the remote starter. Either case our PRO Module will bypass the entire system and prevent the no-start (or dies) issue permanently.

Hi Luke,
I have went through all of the above comments but I didn’t see that anyone was having a passlock problem with a 2006 H3 Hummer. I am worried to do anything to this truck.
I am truly sick having to wait 10 to 50 mins for the Hummer to start. I live in GA and it gets pretty hot here in the summer time and I have a special needs child(CP and seizures from the heat) that ends up sitting with me in the Hummer waiting for it to start. I having read some of the comments and your PRO module looks promising but I am still a little nervus. Will your PRO module work on my Hummer?
Thanks,
Kelly

I have a 2003 Chevy Impala that had the ignition switch replaced and I’ve had random no start problems ever since. Randomly when I try to start the car, it won’t start but I get a flashing SECURITY light for exactly ten minutes. After that the light turns solid, and then I’m able to start the car. I had a remote starter installed, which worked for 3 months–no problems, but now I’m back to the same no-start issues again. Could your bypass possible fix my problem? Please advise.

Reply

Luke April 26, 2012 at 7:18 pm

Andrew, those years have a different system without the chip in the key that works with our module as well, but the fact that the car stalls while driving me tells this is not a security issue. It looks a lot like a faulty ECM if you already tried changing the crank sensor.

Reply

Luke April 26, 2012 at 7:12 pm

Garrett, the fact that you get no spark and that it cuts off randomly while driving tells me the issue is not with security. Looks more like a faulty ECM or crank sensor.

Luke, my girlfriend owns a 2004 Saturn Ion. She left the key in the ignition overnight and possibly didn’t turn the key all the way back to the off position, or it got stuck in the process? Now the key is stuck in the ignition and the anti theft system alert light came on. I removed the key by engaging the plunger i tried the 10 minute trick, charging the battery to make sure it wasn’t dead and everything else from locking and unlocking doors manually. The theft light still comes on but even after i turn the key to start it nothing happens and the key still gets stuck? Any advice would be of a great help. Thanks

Hey Luke, I have a 1998 suburban and never had any Idea that it had a anti theft system till I read your website. I have put about $1,500 into the fuel system. new fuel pump , fuel pressure regulator, fuel relay and on and on. Well just two months ago the truck ran great no trouble starting. yesterday I got stuck in town 20 miles from home and the security light stayed on. I waited 15 min. and it started. well just three miles from my house at 75 mph the truck died and would not start again. I had it towed to my mechanic and he put the computer on it and said that I Need a new distributor ! There goes another $200 and still won’t start but I don’t have any spark . Would the anti theft system make that happen ? Please help before I’m out of money and can’t afford a pro module thanks……

Reply

Luke April 26, 2012 at 7:01 pm

Chris, I would love to tell you something positive, but unfortunately your issue doesn’t seem to be security related, or at least there seem to be something else on top of a potential security issue. The security system would not shut down the engine if not within the first 5 seconds of starting it. Also the security system doesn’t affect the spark, but only disable the injectors. The fact that the truck started after 15 minutes and that the security light stayed on makes me think there could be also a security issue, but all the rest makes me think you might have a faulty ECM instead.

Reply

Luke April 21, 2012 at 12:29 pm

Mack, if it stalled while driving I would point more at a faulty ECM or a problem on the crank sensor, but security cannot stop the engine after it’s running for more than 5 seconds.

Will this system fix that or will I need to find the right key.

Reply

Luke April 18, 2012 at 7:30 am

Bryan, the first thing you can try is to just clean the terminals of the chip that is on the key, if that doesn’t help it means the problem is either in the cylinder where the sensor contacts are or in the TDM that is the brain of the system. The NEWROCKIES PRO Module, if installed, will fix the issue permanently in whatever part of the system it is as it bypasses all components. And you will definitely NOT need to change your key, actually you would be able to even remove the chip in the key you are using and the car would start perfectly.

The security light vwas blinking. I had to get some guys to help me push it out of the way. After a while, it finally started and I drove it home (the light was still on solid). I stopped it and it then restarted- now the light is off. Please help! I have a 2000 Poniac Trans Am Firehawk. It’s equipped with an LS1 V8 and 6 speed manual transmission. About a year ago I was stranded for the first time at a gas station, when my car wouldn’t start. No security light, no crank, but I had radio / power windows / etc… I had it towed to a shop, and they told me it was a broken wire in the ignition cylinder. They replaced the cylinder, cut me a new GM key, and $300 later my car was fixed… or so I thought. Fast forward 12 months….

About a month ago, my car started doing the same thing again. No start…. The battery and the alternator are new, by the way. I drove it to 2 other shops, however they couldn’t “recreate my non-start scenario” so I was told they could not find anything wrong, and my car was returned back to me… Without a code for them to fix, they couldn’t do anything for me…

Anyways, I’ve been driving it for about a week as my daily driver again, and sure enough this morning… NO START!….. No security light , nothing.. but my radio / windows / etc all work properly…

Is the VATS my real problem here? I’m assuming that my ignition cylinder is still good since it was replace just last year??? I heard that it’s possibly my STARTER, since I’m not getting the SECURITY light on my dash.

Please help!!….. I love my car, but I’m running out of ideas and money on how to fix this….

Reply

Luke April 10, 2012 at 7:58 pm

Cody, as I said several times in other comments, the security light cannot be trusted as it is driven by the security system itself, so if it’s bad then the light might not turn on at all. I’m almost sure you have a security issue from what you say, you can try our PRO Module out at no risk, and if it doesn’t solve your problem you can return it for full refund within 30 days. Our guarantee is unconditional, so we will refund you even if the module has been used for this test.

Luke, I have a 95 Skylark with a nostart problem, the car only has about 23000 miles on it, I have replaced the fuel system a couple of times from pump to regulator, the ignition was also replaced along with crank sensor. I was wondering if this model car had a factory security system that could posibly be preventing it from starting, do you think one of your modules would possibly cure my problem which is no fuel to the injectors, or do you possibly have any ideas of what could be causing this no fuel to the injectors problem. I did not see this year on the list for your new products to be released in late April/early May. Thanks in advance: JohnB

Luke April 10, 2012 at 7:49 pm

John, the Skylark in 95 did not have any factory immobilizer installed. Could be a bad ECM, but is very difficult to diagnose from distance.

I own a 2003 Olds Alero. Loved the car up until I began having issues with the Passlock. Unbelievable headache! The problem at first was not that bad, but now (especially over last 2wks), I get locked out up to 4 times a day!!! How secure is that? Over the last few days, I’ve been doing a lot of research on what I thought was going to be a rare problem only to find out there are thousands of us affected by this. Why hasn’t GM done anything about it?? Amazes me!!
Anyway, I browsed through the comments here on your site but have been unable to find one from a customer that bought, installed and headache gone…. Any success stories yet?
I am very interested in trying out your product. I am patiently waiting for Monday morning to give my mechanic a call and share my excitement of a possible cure! My fingers are crossed.

Carole, we have thousands of success stories, 95% of our customers are solving their issue with our PRO Module. There are several pages of comments, if you go through all them you will see many comments of customers that installed our PRO Module successfully and are very happy of the result. We have very many garage shops and dealers in the US alone that are buying from us and about 500 of them subscribed as installers.

Hey Luke, i have a 2000 Camaro. while in first gear driveing about 15 mph. the car just turns off. i pulled to the side of the road and tried to restart. the car turnd on for about 1 second then dies. i gave it a few min then tried again with same result just turns off after 1 second. i gave it a few more min and tried again this time the car wont even atempt to start no crank or anything. if i leave the car in the on position the sicurity light blinks?

Reply

Luke April 10, 2012 at 7:40 pm

The fact that the car turned off while driving would be telling me this is not a security issue, but all the rest you say correspond exactly to a security issue. You might have a bad ECM (which might also make the security light blink) or you possibly an electrical issue that also affects security (but not only that) or there might be some differences in the security system on cars with manual transmission. If you want you can try our PRO Module out and see if bypassing the immobilize would fix the problem, if not you can return it for full refund within 30 days, our guarantee is unconditional, so we will refund even if the module is used for the test. To purchase, yuo can do it directly from http://newrockies.com/pro just scroll down and click on the “Buy Now” button. The price includes detailed docs, free installation technical support and 30 days unconditional money back guarantee.

Hi Luike,

My nephew recommended your site after my 2002 Tahoe started having an issue with starting. 2-3 times the truck would not start. The truck was checked out by Firestone and GM and did not find any issue. The symptom is you turn the key and nothing is engaged, like it’s not communicating with the starter at all. Then after some time, it will start just fine.

Thanks in advance for any help and if I need to buy your product to address this issue.

Regards,

Ross

Reply

Luke April 10, 2012 at 7:34 pm

Ross, I wish I could suggest you our PRO module, but in the specific case of your truck the factory immobilizer would only disable the injectors, not the starter. So if you cannot even have the starter engaged then it looks like a different issue to me.

Hi Luke. Wow what a long list of troubled customers. My mother in law has a 2001 Saturn L100 that has been taxing my nerves and patients for the last 3 days with the dreaded no start and flashing security light. The 10 and 15 min. wait don’t get it. One morning it starts, the next time it don’t. The security light keeps flashing and never comes on steady after the wait time. I take it your Pro Mod will solve the headache. I do most my wrenching which is on “old school wheels” I was about ready to try my hand at the resistor fix, till I came across your site. I will contact your tech dept. before I order, to see what I am in for on the installation if you don’t mind. Still like my “points and condensor vehicles”. Will be back to you. Mom who is turning 89 years young don’t need no problems.

I just ordered from you, and I think I miss read Passlock for “Prolock” I have a prolock on my impala ss 94. and nothing works, no click of a starter or solinoid, lights , but nothing, I am interested in bypassing everything, will this bypass the prolock?

Reply

Luke April 1, 2012 at 7:15 pm

Tom, the Prolock system is a fake immobilizer so non-sense that they are out of business since years… It has nothing to do with Passlock or passkey or VATS. In your case you don’t need our module, simply remove the prolock box (typically under the steering column) from the wiring harness and splice the wire back together. It was just a fancy starter kill relay, nothing more. I advised our logistics to cancel your shipment for the PRO Module. They will initiate a full refund to you tomorrow.

Reply

Tom Harris April 2, 2012 at 7:04 pm

Luke, thanks for your honesty. But…I would still like to do a triple bypass on my baby cause I could be right back in the same boat later. with the PRO module, will it bypass the Prolock ? therefore just letting me leave it alone and not do any wiring, or is this a 2 step proceedure. To be honest, I am down to one ignition key with a chip in it, and I would like to able to by backups, as you say, for a buck. I use the club always, so I’m not too worried about theft. maybe, if it is a 2 step dance, you could tell me what colours are the wires to splice…asking too much?

Reply

Luke April 3, 2012 at 7:47 pm

Tom, our PRO Module will bypass the factory immobilizer entirely, so that you will be 100% safe on that side. For the Prolock instead it’s a different procedure, really easy and we can certainly help you out on that too when you install the PRO module. I will advise our techs then, but when you receive the PRO please send a request in for support mentioning this our conversation in your message to the techs so that will remind them. Your module will go in tomorrow’s shipment, if it’s been already refunded we’ll send you an invoice.

I have a 2003 cavalier. The factory stereo was taken out and an after market one put in but not the right way. We took it out because we figured it is what triggered our issues we are now having. The first time the security light came on and then of course the next time the car wouldn’t start. Now if you turn the key to start the car I know right away it’s not going to because no lights come on for a bulb check in the dash. Try and start it and it doesn’t we have tried the resistor fix which hasn’t helped. 5 days now and there is still no lights coming on in the dash which means no start. We have done the 10 minute relearn process but nothing works. Will your product help us?

The secuity light, in our 2001 Lumina, came on this morning when my wife was driving to work. The car ran great, started after work and got her home safely. The light stays on with my key too. We have had no issues, yet, except for the light. Are we headed for trouble?

Reply

Luke March 30, 2012 at 7:00 pm

Mark, that is the typical beginning of the story for those immobilizers. You can read many other comments very similar to yours. When it starts failing the car might still just starting fine, then it will begin to randomly refuse to start and then, with time, it will get worse and worse till the car won’t start anymore. Our NEWROCKIES PRO Module will bypass the factory immobilizer and prevent this to happen – permanently.

It will start and shut off after about 3 seconds and from what i am reading your system should fix this issue. What is the difference between the PRO version and the version that i would buy and build myself? If i were to build it, would it then be usable for another GM vehicle if i were to need it again?

Reply

Luke March 30, 2012 at 7:06 pm

The DIY and the PRO are based on a completely different design. The DIY works only on a subset of the cars that are listed on the website, specifically only with those that have a “Fuel Enable” signal at the ECM (which is your case). The PRO Module is also built with military grade components that guarantee a lifespan of at least 20 years, while the DIY will be built with components that you find around in stores that are average quality and as such might need some annual re-tuning (a 5 minutes work). Judging from the use you have in mind, the DIY might be enough in your case as the life of the car won’t probably be that long :) .

Hi,
It was mid February of 2012 that my 2000 Buick LeSabre Custom would not start when leaving a restraunt in Florida. The windows would roll up and down and the head lights would turn on and seemed that we had plenty of battery, but the engine would not crank.

A helpful man in the parking lot saw our plight and offered to help. I sat in the car with the key on while he took a screwdriver and jumped tween the selenoid post and starter motor post. It worked to start the engine.

After I got home I made an appointment to take the car in for repairs at a bbb accredited shop the next day. Fortunately the car started for me.
The shop owner assured me that he had all the diagnostic equipment to find out what was wrong. He told me the battery was not up to snuff.
I had my doubts, but we were due to leave FL and head back to Michigan in about 10 days so I let him sell me a battery.

It ran and started just fine for 10 days. When we were ready to leave a McDonald’s some place in South Carolina, the engine would not roll over without a jump start. Not a screwdriver start like before. This even when the battery seemed to be fully charged. When we stopped for gas it started ok. We spent the night in Kentucky and in the morning it started ok and at every gas stop. We drove till we had about 4 hours to reach my home in Michigan and stopped for the night. The next morning we had to get a jump start. We had one more gas stop to make and was lucky. We have been home for a week and most of the time it starts. Yesterday it would not start, but today it would.

The security warning light does not come on, when it won’t start. Any time while sitting in the car and open one of the doors a little red light on the radio blinks and keeps blinking till I open the door to get back in.
It blinks day and night till the door is opened.

Do you think the problem could be a faulty security system?

Dan

Luke March 30, 2012 at 7:12 pm

Dan, it doesn’t look like a security issue from your description. This could be an electrical problem, wiring or bad ground or even an ECM issue.

Hello, I havea1990 camaro iroc ipurchased, it had been sitting for 5 years. It would’nt start, no fuel to rails, I changed fuel pump, fuel pump relay, distributor. Still won’t start, there is fuel at the rails now, and if I shoot gas in the intake plenum it will start for a second then shut down. I don’t have a security light on, the ses light comes on and others, I also have to tickle the solenoid on the starter to turn it over, because the key won’t crank it. From what I’m reading I think your product would work for me.

Luke March 27, 2012 at 4:42 pm

Mel, it could still be a security issue even if the security light is off as the security light is driven by the security system itself in those models. If it is security our NEWROCKIES PRO Module will fix it permanently bypassing the entire system. You can purchase the PRO module directly from our website at http://newrockies.com/pro . Hi I wonder if you can help us, we have a 1999 GMC Safari van it has a regular cut key not a code key, it was having an ignition problem and the column would not come out of park so we replaced it with a used column, now the van only starts for a second and dies instantly, it seems to want to start right away but never runs more than a second. I disconnected the battery as I have read on forums plus left the key on to maybe correct the problem as I also read but it still will only run a second and then shut off. We had an appointment for it to get shocks this Wednesday morning and I was hoping to fix it before that. I am not sure what to do and if your module would help can you tell me if I have to take the column or dash apart to install something. Sorry I do not have anyone to help me with this and wonder what I would have to do to get it working. Thank you for all of your help. Kelly

My question is, does this complicate or change the install or effectiveness of the Pro Module. Thanks for any info

EEEEEK! Well, my brother is a mechanic and fixed my security light issue 2 months ago. My car would literally not start and of course sometimes it did. After reading your website, it was obvious he had 3 options to try to fix the car. He decided to change the lock cylinder and key on the car and that fixed it! No problem :-) Yesterday, as I started my car and drove off, after about 1 min, the security light came on and my car died. I flipped my key, restarted and it started no problem…then 1 min later driving down the road…my car dies and locks my steering wheel(security light on). EEEEK..Im wondering how dangerous it is to drive the car down the interstate or busy intersections. This has happened 3 times in the past week. My questions:
1. How dangerous is this for me to drive with the possibililty of it shutting of when I’m driving (so far it happens in the first 5 min I start the car)
2. Was the lock key cylinder system a temporary fix and now this issue is haunting me again?
3. This bypass system you made will take care of this issue?
I have a 1993 Buick Lesabre with only 70000 miles on it. I bought it from an older man 3 years ago when it only had 28000 miles on it. i bought it for $900..He was about 90 and had to go into a retirement home and I was still in college. So, I have gotten my moneys worth out of it for sure but making it on a teachers salary…Id rather keep the buick for as long as I can) :-) OK enough blabbing! Thank you for your help!

Reply

Luke March 27, 2012 at 8:25 pm

Courtney, the issue you are mentioning is not strictly related to security as the security system would never stall the car while driving – it can only prevent it from starting or it can shut off the engine within the first 3 to 5 seconds after starting it. It is VERY common on those years of the LeSabre to see the problem you are talking about and statistically, 98% of the times, it is caused by a bad ECM or a bad crank sensor. Neither of them are very expensive to replace. For the ECM, you can ask your mechanic to get a used one or you can purchase a used one at parts stores like Napa for even less than 100$ – It is plug and play, so if you start with the right agreements you can even return it if it doesn’t fix the issue.

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile alero about a week ago the car wouldn’t start and I had to replace the battery. After a few days with the new battery it wouldn’t start again. I had a diagnostic test done and everything is fine, but something is taking .97 amps of the battery when its stationary and then the car won’t start. I have yet to take it to a mechanic to perform an electrical test, but I was wondering if this system could be causing this to my car? The security light is not always on but has turned on about 3 times, and then when i disconnect the battery it turns off.

Luke March 27, 2012 at 8:29 pm

Jaleesa, your issue looks more like a bad ground or some other wiring/electrical issue. I’m pretty sure the security system is not involved in this.

Eugene, on your model the Passlock disables only the injectors, not the starter, so I believe the problem is probably somewhere else, might be bad ground or something else, but it doesn’t look like security.

Hi, I have a 1990 corvette. I had the steering column switched out in my car about a year and a half ago so the ECM has been reprogrammed. then I lost my keys. I cannot get a new key and therefore have not been able to start it at all. I hoping it is just the ECM and not a broken connection/wire. Will this fix my problem and how hard is it to install? I am not mechanically inclined.

Reply

Luke March 16, 2012 at 8:41 pm

Terry, I’m a bit confused over your question. You say you lost your keys and you cannot start the car, but then you say you hope it’s just the ECM. Just would like to understand what exactly is happening before risking to give you a wrong answer.

Boyet March 15, 2012 at 1:17 am

2002 Grand Am V6 3.4 wil start and when it reaches 180 degree in temperature it stalls. Is this passkey related problem? Checked everything from fuel pump, filter, ignition and sensors. Still got the same problem, car been sitting for couple of months. Will the bypass solve this problem?

Thanks.

Reply

Luke March 15, 2012 at 8:42 pm

Boyet, if it stalls while driving it’s not a security issue, could easily be the crank sensor or the ECM.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT IN 2010 AND I MUST SAY THAT THIS IS THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE DONE FOR MY 1990 CADI DEVILLE. MY CAR KEPT CUTTING OFF AND I WAS PAYING THE SHOP 200.00 TO GET IT STARTED THEN AFEW WEEKS LATER IT WOULD CUT OFF AGAIN. SINCE I’VE INSTALLED THE PRO MODULE I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM SINCE. MY CAR EVEN GAINED MORE POWER AND THAT’S NO LIE. I WOULD NOT GIVE CREDIT TO SOMETHING THAT DON’T WORK. LUV IT….

I have a 2002 Saturn and am starting to have the dreaded flashing security light and am not real thrilled at the prospect of waiting 10 minutes to start my car. I have read several forums that seem to point to a failing BCM. Assuming the BCM is the problem will your device alleviate the need to replace the BCM?

Reply

Luke March 12, 2012 at 8:03 pm

Wes, if the issue in the BCM is related to the security system like it seems like, our NEWROCKIES PRO module will definitely solve it.

I have a 1996 chevy cavalier 2.2 5-speed The car was stored for 2 yrs with out running ran fine when it was parked.. just got the car out wont run.. we replaced the crank shaft sending unit thinking that was it. we were not geting any gas or spark… then got a PCM from autozone reflashed to the vin of car.. Out it in went to do the passlock 3 relearn.. said security light would go out after 10 min battery new on a charger for 30 min and light still did nit go off… could this have been a security isue from the start and do u have a system for this car? HELP

Reply

Luke March 12, 2012 at 8:02 pm

Mike, if the issue were security you should have had spark, the factory immobilizer disables only the injectors on your vehicle.

Are you still on track to come out with a Pro Bypass for 1993 Corvettes this April 2012? Mine is dead in the driveway needing this component to get back on the road.

Thanks, Paul

Paul, we are on the last phase of the design, then testing and production should bring us to end April mid-May. – Just a slight delay, but we are there.

I have a 2000 Pontiac sunfire that I changed the pcm out on from the junkyard. After putting it on the car I did the 10 min reset and it started and ran until I turned car off, but security light keep coming on while I was testing it. When I tried to restart it, it will not do anything and the security light is stay on solid. Will your product fix this and if so can I do the DIY fix? Thanks for your time.

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:14 pm

Archie, it looks like a security issue from what you say, our PRO module is compatible with your car and fix this permanently.

I have a 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with an intermittent recurring Pass Key Fault. The dealer says I need a new CCM (trunk unit). Does your product takes this component out of the equation?

Thanks,

Rex

Reply

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:17 pm

Rex, absolutely, our PRO module will bypass the security part in the CCM, you will NOT need to change it and your car will start perfectly. The security system will be bypassed entirely, so the problem will never arise anymore.

Reply

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:21 pm

Brent, the issue is how those systems talk to the PCM, it’s not in the name of the system. Our PRO module can manage some PK3 models, but not yours and not others. We will have a module compatible with your car by end-April / mid-May

I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado that’s been having Passlock issues. Last week the flashing security light lept the truck from starting. The 30 minute relearn procedure seemed to help. I’m guessing this is the fuel injector disable thing. Currently, the truck starts but the security light is on solid. The truck starts normally but the light never goes out. Will your premade device stop the security light from illuminating? Does this device require wire splicing etc or is it a plug in type of device? I’m good with electronics somewhat but I’m nervous about taking apart my dash and messing with wiring.

Reply

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:26 pm

Jeff, our PRO module will take care of bypassing the immobilizer, so the problem will not reoccur anymore. The security light on most models will be off, on some others there is a feedback from the BCM that keeps it on even after installing the PCM, but if that would be your case our techs will walk you through on how to turn it off. On your truck, our PRO module is spliced on the wires of the factory BCM, installation is easy.

I have a 1992 buick Le Sabre 3.8 liter,Last year I replaced the ign.lock and key since the wires were broken. Vehicle worked fine, then started to have problems after that, vehicle would not start, left ign. on for 3 minutes and it would clear the security and it starts.Months passed and worked fine, but now the security flashes and will not let vehicle start, will your module work in this kind of situation, will it stop the light from flashing and bypass the security, being its an old car it drives fine and I would like to give it a chance.

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:30 pm

Joe, absolutely, our PRO module will bypass the entire factory immobilizer system on your car and fix the problem permanently. On the LeSabre the installation is extremely easy. We build the PRO module with military standard components that have a lifespan of 20+ years so you will be sure the problem will never arise anymore for the life of the car.

Hi Luke,

I have a 97 deville that’s not turning over. I’m guessing I’m probably in the same category as “Venerble Merck” (….around the 6th comment from the top.) Is there a waiting list for the new versions in April? I’d like to get on it. If I’m lucky enough to be “Compatible” I’ll buy one right away! Thanks! Mike

Mike, we have so many requests for the new modules that I will setup a page to pre-order the new module. It will be compatible for your car, but we are slightly late on the project and it will be out about mid-May. The page will be setup in the next couple of days and I will post a notice on the main page of the website.

I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville that the PASS system is screwed up on, and the car will not start. So, I am looking for a way to bypass this. Any ideas? The security light is flashing on and off and this happened back in 2010. Just getting to work on it now. So I’m not too sure if it is the wire broken or if this is just the security screwing up on me. And if it is the security, do u have this device out yet for this year, make and model of car?

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:45 pm

Guy, we will have a module for your 99 Deville by mid-May. I’m going to setup a pre-order page (requested by many others) in the next couple of days and will advise on the main page.

I have a 1999 K2500 OBS and just rebuilt the 5.7L engine. Now it won’t start. It sounds like it will run, then dies a second later. The security light stays on solid, even after trying to resetting by leaving the ignition on for 10+ minutes. The key has to be wiggled to the right place before it turns to ON/Start. I think im going to try bypassing the passlocks … Will the DIY work on mine or do I need the pro? Whats the estimated expense for parts to build the DIY?

Reply

Luke March 11, 2012 at 7:48 pm

Glen, for your truck you will indeed need the PRO as that vehicle doesn’t have the “Fuel Enable” signal at the ECM that is required by the DIY to work.
