Our Monthly contest winner for June is Noreen McTague from Florida. She had been dealing with the SECURITY system for years, and finally had to do something about it with her daughter soon taking the truck to college. I can totally relate to her leaving the truck running while she filled it with gas. I’ve been in that same boat before and it’s nice to be able to rely on your vehicle again. “Our 2006 Chevrolet Colorado truck had start up issues for a few years. We kept ignoring it; and then I got fed up, and did some research. It didn’t matter if the engine was cold, or warm. It was so random; yet, the truck would start after waiting 10 to 15 minutes (sounds familiar, I know). My daughter was taking the truck to college as her vehicle. Obviously, a young girl with a vehicle that would not start, randomly, was not a good thing. My husband had also read that eventually the vehicle will just not start no matter what. So, I ordered the pro module and on November 1, 2014, I had my nephew install it for me. I am so happy with the New Rockies Pro Module. I no longer have to leave it running while putting gas in the truck (something I used to do). I no longer worry about the truck not starting for my daughter. She is also extremely pleased. That alone is worth the world to me. We have had the module in the truck for over 7 months now and it starts every time.”
